The Pikes Peak Water Garden Society meetings are held every 2nd Thursday from April to September.  Most meetings start at 7:00 PM and wrap up around 9:00 to 9:30 PM.

This year our meetings will once again be held at the Mountain View Church of Christ located at 1080 East La Salle Street.  This is at the west end of Constitution Avenue on the southwest corner.

Enter through the east door on the north side of the church.

August Club Membership Meeting
8 Sep, 2011

August club meeting was opened by President Steve Carson at 7:10PM at Mt. View Church of Christ. There were 45 members that attended this month’s meeting.

Dick Throckmorton gave the financial report to members.
Steve opened the floor for nominations to fill 3 board positions. Tom was nominated for board. Steve will open the floor for more nominations at next month’s member meeting.

Members were reminded that the fall workshops are just around the corner and that we need help in shutting down the ponds at Union Printers Home and Sacrate Heart.

I did a presentation on winterizing a pond. Recommended procedures that should be done from fall to winter were presented. Phil Goulding continued on the subject of winterization by showing how he constructed a cover for his pond.

The meeting ended at 8:45 PM.

Robert hinkley (?) donated 3 small Koi from his pond to give away as a door prize. The following members won door prizes:
