Annual Koi Auction and Pizza night

will be the fourth meeting of 2010. This will be our annual Koi auction and pizza night. This meeting will begin at 6:30 with pizza and time to select your favorite Koi.

The Pikes Peak Water Garden Society meetings are held every 2nd Thursday from April to September.  Most meetings start at 7:00 PM and wrap up around 9:00 to 9:30 PM.

This year our meetings will once again be held at the Mountain View Church of Christ located at 1080 East La Salle Street.  This is at the west end of Constitution Avenue on the southwest corner.

Enter through the east door on the north side of the church.

Pikes Peak Water Garden Society
July’s Club Membership Meeting
9 July, 2010

July’s club meeting was opened by President Ron Bissonnette at 6:30PM at Mt. View Church of Christ. There were 65 members and several guests that attended this month’s Koi auction.

The evening started with pizza and preview showing of the Koi available for the auction.

Ron welcomed all members to the meeting. Ron thanked Dick Throckmortan for driving up to Koi Lagoon to pick up the Koi.

Dick gave the financial report to the club. Current checking account balance was $4,283.82 and savings had a balance of 2,075.20. Total club funds were $6,359.36.

Ron also stated that the club is still searching for 3 more club members to participate in this year’s pond tour. We only have 7 members signed up.

The auction began at 7:10pm. Bob Pollock, former club president, emceed the auction by providing.

The meeting ended at 8:30PM.
