will be the member picnic. This will be our final get together for 2009. Bring your favorite dessert to share with others. PPWGS will provide the meal for all members that attend. Please RSVP by October 5th to Betty Lou at 597-1504 or email toomanykoi@msn.com.

The Pikes Peak Water Garden Society meetings are held every 2nd Thursday from April to September.  Most meetings start at 7:00 PM and wrap up around 9:00 to 9:30 PM.

This year our meetings will once again be held at the Mountain View Church of Christ located at 1080 East La Salle Street.  This is at the west end of Constitution Avenue on the southwest corner.

Enter through the east door on the north side of the church.

Pikes Peak Water Garden Society
Oct\'s Club Membership Meeting
8 Oct, 2009

October’s club meeting was opened by Vice President Steve Carson at 6:30 PM at Mt. View Church of Christ. There were 51 members at this month’s final club meeting and annual picnic.

Greg Gutierrez and Steve thanked all members for their supporting various workshops by presenting individuals with a Certificate of Appreciation.
All board members for next year were announced. Steve Carson, Ron Bissonette, Dick Throckmorton, Robert Lammon and Greg Gutierrez will be the board members.

The board members served the BBQ dinner to all members present at the last meeting for the year. A slide presentation was shown to celebrate the 20th anniversary of PPWGS.

There was a desert contest to celebrate the clubs anniversary. Members voted for the desert that displayed the theme for PPWGS. Majority of the votes went to Rose Carson. She won a free membership for next year.
The meeting adjourned at 8:15PM.
