Annual Koi Auction

will be the fourth monthly meeting for 2006. Time for the annual Koi auction. The koi auction is a chance to own some extra nice koi at bargan price's. Free pizza will be served.

The Pikes Peak Water Garden Society meetings are held every 2nd Thursday from April to September.  Most meetings start at 7:00 PM and wrap up around 9:00 to 9:30 PM.

This year our meetings will once again be held at the Mountain View Church of Christ located at 1080 East La Salle Street.  This is at the west end of Constitution Avenue on the southwest corner.

Enter through the east door on the north side of the church.

Pikes Peak Water Garden Society
General Club Meeting Minutes
July 13, 2006

Meeting called to order at about 8:07 PM by Bob Pollock, President, at the Holy Cross Church.

July meeting consisted of pizza for all, bought with club funds, followed by the annual Koi auction.

Bob opened bidding with a request that all “open their wallets.” Three large Koi were donated by Joe Gagnon; these were well received and auctioned off first. Following were Koi from Koi Lagoon in Fort Collins. All were Japanese Koi, of a variety of colors, types and sizes.

Lucky bidders who obtained fish were encouraged, as with any new addition, to quarantine with diligence.

Joe Gagnon reminded everyone of the upcoming pond tour. Board members agreed to purchase additional signage due to large number of individuals who signed up for the tour. Joe requested help for passing out signs at Wasson on Saturday and Sunday of the tour from 8:30-2.

A large drawing was held with many items donated by Koi Lagoon. Recipients are as follows:
