Last Club Meeting of 2017 and Annual BBQ Picnic. THIS MEETING BEGINS AT 6:30PM.

The Pikes Peak Water Garden Society meetings are held every 2nd Thursday from April to September.  Most meetings start at 7:00 PM and wrap up around 9:00 to 9:30 PM.

This year our meetings will once again be held at the Mountain View Church of Christ located at 1080 East La Salle Street.  This is at the west end of Constitution Avenue on the southwest corner.

Enter through the east door on the north side of the church.

Meeting Minutes

Pikes Peak Water Garden Society

October Club Member Meeting Minutes from October 12th, 2017 at 6:30PM

The meeting was held at Mountain View Church of Christ in Colorado Springs CO.

There were 22 people in attendance.

This was our end of year BBQ Picnic meeting.
Cheri Richardson brought fall decorations for the tables. Shirley Weaver brought and served the food provided by the club. Other members brought salads, sides and desserts.

The club purchased:
8 # of pulled pork at $12.99 per pound, 2/3’s was left over
8# of sliced beef brisket at $14.99 per pound, 1/3 was left over
along with BBQ sauces, onions, pickles and peppers from Billy Sims BBQ. Total cost was $218.08

The club also provided 2 rotisserie chickens, rolls, corn bread butter, potato salad and tossed salad from King Soopers for $52.91.
Mike Davis served beverages provided by the Club.

In the absence of the President, Bob Oatman, the Vice President, Tom Taylor was Master of Ceremonies. Secretary, Tom Barger was absent, so only the Treasurers Report was read by Shirley Weaver. It was approved as read.

As we ate dinner, Tom showed a slide show of Ponds from the tour. Bluegrass music was provided by a CD. About 8 pm the meeting was adjourned and several helped to clean and return the room to its original order.
